On the first Monday of every month, a member of the Georgia State marketing staff will give InsideGSUSports a look at what is going on in their department. Over the course of every month, each department will be featured at least once. Coming Wednesday: Panther Athletic Club.
With football season just within reach, we have been busy in the marketing office making our final preparations for the Aug. 30 kickoff. Out of all of our preparations, I was most excited for the arrival our biggest attractions in Pounce Town, the inflatable slide and bounce house. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, our inflatables have arrived, and after careful inspection and many trial runs down the slide, the marketing team has deemed them ready for use in Pounce Town this season.
Pounce Town is located at Gate C of the Georgia Dome during all home Georgia State football games and is open to any and all of the youth Panther fans in attendance. We encourage all of our youth fans to stop by Pounce Town and enjoy music, face painting, special promotions and giveaways, performances by our spirit squads, a pregame visit from our beloved mascot, Pounce, and of course, a couple rides down our giant inflatable slide.
Pounce Town is not the only place where these inflatables will be making an appearance this season. Our Pounce’s Kids Club Members will also have the opportunity to use the inflatables at other athletic events throughout the 2013-14 season. Pounce’s Kids Club is an exclusive club for young Panther fans in 8th grade and younger to experience many behind the scenes benefits that Georgia State Athletics has to offer, like exclusive autograph sessions with GSU student-athletes and coaches, facilities tours, and many in game promotional activities throughout the season. To join Pounce’s Kids Club, visit www.PouncesKidsClub.com or call (404) 413-4171.
I don’t know about you, but seeing these inflatables made me all the more excited for attending the Georgia State football games this fall. As the first person to take a ride down the slide, I can promise you, it’s definitely worth it to stop by Pounce Town during the football games and take a ride for yourself!
See everyone Aug. 30th at 7 P.M.
