Poll of the Week: Which Georgia State Program Had the Best Week?

Last week was a great week with a lot of great wins for the Georgia State program. With some impressive performances, we post the question this week as to which team had the best week.

First, here are a few recaps of the week:

Women’s Soccer – Coach Derek Leader’s squad earned an impressive 1-0 road win at Western Kentucky. The Hilltoppers will be the No. 1 seed in next week’s Sun Belt Conference Championship.

Volleyball – The team won its second and third straight Sun Belt Conference games with victories over Louisiana-Lafayette and ULM. Sunday’s win at ULM was the squad’s first Sun Belt road victory.

Men’s Soccer – The Panthers knocked off No. 9 Furman 2-0 to begin the week and then extended their home field winning streak to five with a 1-0 victory over Appalachian State.

Men’s Golf – Shot the lowest round of the tournament (an 8-under, 280) to finish fifth at the UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate in a field that had 12 teams in the top-100 in the nation.

Women’s Golf – Finished second at the Palmetto Intercollegiate on Monday, shooting a school-record 283, while Melissa Siviter shot a final round 67 (third lowest score in school history) to earn the victory.

Last week we looked at which men’s basketball game you were most looking forward to and in a close vote, our fans are most looking forward facing Georgia Southern in the Sports Arena on Dec. 20. That game got nearly 40 percent of the vote, while the Sun Belt Tournament received 30 percent.
