Georgia State will host Shorter in its second exhibition game in the Sports Arena at 7 p.m. on Monday night. It will be the Panthers final preparation before the regular season opener on Friday night against Tennessee Temple.
Running through the entire season, the InsideGSUSports blog will present the Number of the Game, a quick number and explanation of its significance before tip-off.
The number will come from a variety of different places, but will always be significant to the team or that specific game.
Tonight’s Number of the Game:
Since head coach Ron Hunter’s arrival at Georgia State, the Panthers are 35-10 in the comfy confines of the Sports Arena, an impressive 77.7 winning percentage. Georgia State went 13-0 at home last season and enter the season with a 13-game home-court winning streak, tied with Louisiana Tech for the 14th longest streak in the country.
Come back Friday before the Panthers host Tennessee Temple in the regular season opener for another Number of the Game.
