Inside Marketing: Supporting Basketball

On the first Monday of every month, a member of the Marketing staff will give a behind-the-scenes look at what’s going on around its area and the department. Over the course of every month, each department will be featured at least once. Coming Wednesday: Panther Athletic Club.

Good Afternoon and Happy Cyber Monday!

We thought that coming up with two outstanding offers would be the best way to feed your Georgia State Athletics appetite this time of year.  You can still purchase the Panther Pack for just $120 that includes every men’s and women’s basketball game for the rest of the season. There is a still a value of $214 with this deal.  Let me break this down for you…

Lots of Panther basketball for the face value of $214 is a good deal to see some of the top teams in the state, conference players of the year, and even some NBA-types.  However, $120 is a tremendous deal to see the same thing.  Why would you not take advantage of this offer?  Do yourself a favor and call us today at 866-GA-STATE and get the Blue Friday (even though it’s Monday) Panther Pack right now!

Blue_Friday_eblastThe second offer is to get you in the door for women’s basketball against Kennesaw State for just $3 or men’s basketball against Horizon League favorite and boasting their own returning conference player of the year, the Green Bay Phoenix, for only $5.

Women vAt the women’s game Wednesday night we will be collecting teddy bears for Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, Hughes Spalding.  So bring a teddy bear to give to those in need – ‘tis the season.  We will also be collecting toys at the entrance to the game for toys for tots as part of a greater Georgia State University-wide initiative.

At the Thursday night game against Green Bay (Did I mention they are also conference favorite and have a conference player of the year?) we are promoting a BLACK OUT in the Sports Arena.  The entire lower level and the first 500 general admission and students will get black out shirts from The Georgia Lottery.

vs Green Bay

All students who show up can register to win a $1,000 scholarship in the Dollars for Degrees program.  We will have a teddy bear toss at halftime to benefit the children of Nicholas House and collecting toys at the entrance to the game for toys for tots as part of a greater Georgia State University-wide initiative.  If you bring a toy we will even give you a ticket voucher to catch another men’s basketball game during the holiday break (through January 10) for FREE.

Give us a call today, we would love to hear from you.  Bring your family and friends to the sports arena so you can share your wonderful Panther Athletics experiences with someone else.  We are always looking to grow the #PantherFamily.
