Georgia State returns home after six-straight games on the road to face one of the top mid-major teams in the country, Green Bay, on Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the Sports Arena. If you can’t make it out to the game, make sure to listen to the game live on 1340 The Fan 3 or WRAS-FM 88.5 with Dave Cohen and Brandon Leak calling the action as the Panthers look for their fifth straight win or watch on PantherVision.
Georgia State rolled through the CBE Hall of Fame Classic in Rochester, Mich., last week, before rallying for a 66-63 win at IUPUI on Saturday. This will mark the Panthers only game between today and Dec. 17.
As you know, running through the entire season, the InsideGSUSports blog will present the Number of the Game, a quick number and explanation of its significance before tip-off.
The number will come from a variety of different places, but will always be significant to the team or that specific game.
Today’s Number(s) of the Game:
The number represents the days since Georgia State last lost a game in the state of Georgia. The Panthers have won 14-straight at home and have not lost inside the borders of the state since Feb. 27, 2013.
Come back Dec. 17 before the Panthers travel to face former conference foe Old Dominion in Norfolk, Va., at 8 p.m. ET.
