Men’s Basketball Number of the Game: 200

Georgia State returns home to face Southern Miss on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the GSU Sports Arena. If you can’t make it out to the game, listen to the game on 1340 The Fan 3 or 1230 The Fan 2 or watch live on PantherVision HD.

The Panthers have won 15-straight at home, which is tied for the ninth longest home court winning streak in the country. During that stretch, the Panthers have been pretty good at making 3-pointers, especially one member of the team (number hint).

As you know, running through the entire season, the InsideGSUSports blog will present the Number of  the Game, a quick number and explanation of its significance before tip-off.

The number will come from a variety of different places, but will always be significant to the team or that specific game.

Today’s Number of the Game:

Junior R.J. Hunter connected on the 200th 3-pointer of his career on Wednesday at Old Dominion. He is just the second player in program history to make 200 career 3-pointers and trails only Shellord Pinkett who made 240.

Come back next Saturday for another number as the Panthers travel to Wisconsin to face Green Bay. Tip is set for 1 p.m. ET and can be watched live on ESPN3.
