Thursday, January 15, 2015 vs. UT Arlington at 5 p.m./7 p.m. presented by Georgia’s Own Credit Union. This will be our annual Barefoot for Bare feet Samaritan’s Feet game. The coaches will be barefoot raising awareness for such a great cause. Read more about it HERE. You can bring shoes and/or money to donate for this great cause at the promotions display on the main concourse. We will be celebrating the Lewis School of Nursing and Georgia’s Own Credit Union will also be looking to give away more than $1,000 in cash and prizes. New intros, new semester, did I mention new intros to hype the crowd? Exclusive halftime performance you WILL NOT want to miss… it will be ON FIRE! Door open at 4 p.m. for the women’s game. The Panther Athletic Club pregame event is open to the general public and will be on the second floor, in conjunction with the Alumni Association’s Third Thursday event.
Saturday, January 24, 2015 vs. UL Lafayette at 12 p.m./2 p.m. presented by YP. Wear your blue! This game is all about unfinished business in an epic hardwood battle. This will be Alumni Welcome Back Weekend as we recognize our basketball alumni back in town to cheer on the current Panthers to victories. WE will also be recognizing the Robinson College of Business. Doors open at 11 a.m. for the women’s game. The Panther Athletic Club pregame event will be open to the general public and held at Six Feet Under, downtown location, 437 Memorial Dr.
Saturday, January 31, 2015 vs. Arkansas State at Noon/2 p.m. presented by the GSU Bookstore. This will be Spirit Day with the Girl Scouts, Pounce’s Kids Club Day where members get in for FREE and all PKC members will receive a voucher for a Pounce bobblehead (more about that below), and our postgame penny pickup presented by Georgia’s Own Credit Union. We will recognize the College of Arts and Sciences too. Doors open at 11 a.m. for the women’s game.
Thursday, February 19, 2015 vs. South Alabama at 5 p.m./7 p.m. presented by Coca-Cola. We will have our All Blue Fashion Show presented by Infinite Appeal at halftime with a pregame teaser. This will also be a Georgia Lottery Dollars for Degrees game where we will be giving out two $1,000 scholarships to lucky students in attendance. We will also be recognizing the College of Education and highlighting some of their accomplishments. Doors open at 4 p.m. for the women’s game. The Panther Athletic Club pregame event is open to the general public and will be on the second floor of the GSU Sports Arena.
Saturday, February 21, 2015 vs. Appalachian State at Noon/2 p.m. presented by the Parking Spot. Women’s Basketball will take part in the Play4Kay. At halftime of the men’s game we will feature the 6th Annual GSU Great Baby Race – a fan favorite that you will not want to miss. We will recognize the School of Public Health.
