Men’s Basketball Number of the Game: 350

Georgia State returns to the road to face UT Arlington on Thursday night at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, at 8:15 p.m. ET. If you can’t make it to the game, be sure to listen along on 1340 The Fan 3, WRAS-FM 88.5 or on the GSU mobile apps as Dave Cohen calls the action.

Records have been falling lately and another could drop tonight as Ryan Harrow needs just 30 points to reach 1,000 in a GSU uniform. Although we know he is capable of doing it, we are going to hold on that as our Number of the Game for another.

As you know, running through the entire season, the InsideGSUSports blog will present the Number of  the Game, a quick number and explanation of its significance before tip-off.

The number will come from a variety of different places, but will always be significant to the team or that specific game.

Today’s Numbers of the Game:

Georgia State head coach Ron Hunter will be looking for career win 350 tonight. As the head coach of the Panthers, he has had the most wins of any GSU men’s basketball coach in his first year, first two years and first three years. He needs just four more wins this season to tie Charles “Lefty” Driesell for the most wins in his first four seasons as a head coach of the Panthers.

Make sure to come back on Saturday before the Panthers return home to face Arkansas State at 2 p.m. in the GSU Sports Arena.
